James O'Donnell, Waterscapes' founder and owner, is on-site overseeing each critical phase of development, bringing with him over 23 years of experience in the design, service, renovation and construction of residential and commercial pools, spas and water features. Jim established his company in 1986 upon the premise that water is a magnificent medium to work with and, when executed properly, it can be absolutely transforming. He has a gift for determining how each waterscape will evolve, and an ability to take into account the topography, landscape, neighborhood, architecture and customers' lifestyle.

As a long-time member of the National Spa and Pool Institute, Jim was integral in creating a nationwide education and testing program. He continues to instruct industry members in his areas of expertise: hydraulic design and construction, alternative water chemistry and large-scale renovation projects. Jim has served as president for the prestigious Northeast Spa & Pool Association.
